It's small in the sky,
distance diminished:
the yellow ball looks nothing special,
I won't look much at all
if I don't treat looking at it with respect..
Even so, its absence,
silently suffered,
drags someone down below the salt.
I feel its absence, like its presence
changes all, however small.
But it's here now, where,
azure augmented,
this essential thing is meant to be.
It's a physical need,
no wonder it was worshipped by Ancient Greeks.
You might say that all
biologically based
tendencies in me are simply,
and positively,
heliotropic: Sunny Boy.
