You don’t know unhappiness. True unhappiness is a state of mind that no object, sex, or drug can hide you from. It’s a drug of it’s own, so numbing no heroin addict could ever compare. It’s darkness. You cannot run or choose. It chooses you. And at the worst of times you can’t do anything but curl up in to the fetal position and wish a knife would plunge into your gut, but you don’t because this pain is so torturous that you would never inflict it on someone else. Enjoy your happiness, don’t waste it on pretending it’s not there because it is. Forgetting it to make your life more interesting won’t make you unhappy and will only keep you from being happy. Embrace the problems that face you in hope to move past them and create more happiness. Don’t fear the dangers of the future because no danger is worth fearing, only using to strengthen you for a harder fight that you will face. Skydive, travel, feed a wild lion, or go have a drink with friend, risk the life you have because you only have one to risk. Life is like a casino what’s the point of going if your not going to gamble. Death is coming for you and you can’t run.
