When you see me what do you see
Do you see the physical shell that surrounds me
Or do you see the person inside

Can you look and understand
See what I feel
Sense what I need

Realise that there is more to my look
Than just a glance
Or opening of my eyes

Know what I mean when I speak
Even when I talk without words
Or with no expression

Comprehend the depths within me
How deep can you go
Before you see that there is no bottom

If I opened my arms and let you in
Would you see the beauty in what I am
Or cower in fear of what you percieve
