The part of existence
we all want to find
is infinite.
The epic journey
towards the answer
urges greed; the chaotic
ego blinds us of our faults.
Man is the ruthless
predator pouncing to
tear life limb from limb.
Devouring the corpse he
licks his lips,
in want of that to come.
Yet it still stares.
One day this life
will be a myth, he'll
stalk the land in vain.
Then he'll lower his
golden mane upon the sand
to dream the dream
of kings.
