Winter Heat

Sitting there facing the sun,
I think about what I have done.
Feel the heat increasing bad,
Miss all the ice creams ever had.
Swallowing the dusty air,
I tell myself 'This isn't fair.'
The sun is burning in my face,
But I think I like this place.
Waking up I hit the clock,
Look around: 'Oh what a shock'
I rush to university,
No holiday, no feeling free.
My work is finished, I go out,
Walk to my car. That's mine, no doubt.
Here it is, covered with ice,
I have to scratch, which isn't nice.
Tired and worn, I'm driving home,
The snow looks like some nice white foam.
Unlock the door. Fall on my bed,
A pillow covering my head.
I'm back in summer, in the heat,
Until next morning warm my feet.
I dream of women not too tall,
In Morpheus' country. And that's all.
