To bed I go to have my nap, the dreams I ponder much
A bear I see, I conjured up, to whom I cannot touch.
The window bear, that’s all the trend, is quite a sight to see.
So thank you for the lovely bear, you thought to give to me
Placing him in window, makes him quite a sight.
He needs a special name, to show him our delight.
Wheels turn & whiz about, a name is now our plight.
It has to be selective, as he and I agree.
I have to find it quickly it’s really just a plea.
Thinking of this prose it’s hard for me to see.
The only one that comes to mind, is not the one for me
We could go all English, like Poo, Ted or Jack
Or just Aussie, like Bluey, Red or Zack
But is the Bear a he or she? This question I must ask.
The need to find this out, is really quite a task.
Previous lines, concedes its HE
Appropriately, we’d like to name him, “FRIENDLY”.
