Breathing Space
I found a breathing space
Between you and the wall,
Stealthily I stole in,
For the pleasures of the world.
The sun has come and gone,
For days, months and years,
The seasons have rolled on
Sitting on nature's wheel cart.
Love has played its role
Whose haunting pleasure holds
A smile on my face
When I see the next generation mould.
Nurtured in this space
With all the gifts of God,
I love the breathing space
Between you and the wall.
