Death's Longing,
She is one of those people who is loved by everyone
When she walks into a room everyone lights up
She is the type of person to always smile
No one sees her in pain
No one questions to see her true emotions
Only because she learned to knit pain into camouflage
It seems as though she cares for others more than herself
When she forgers to help herself
She would talk to me
About how lonely and broken she is
I comfort her when needed
But my comfort scares her
She fears me, Death
Yet sometimes she enjoys my comfort
I remember when she was a little girl
She had the most beautfiul eyes
Eyes of an innocence
That have never seen what the world truly is
I was spoken of when times needed
I was tucked away from her, for protection
She couldn't understand who I am
As years go on
We learn to get to know each other
I have gotten to know everything about her
How she hates the sound of a heart beat
A sound that I crave adn selfishly take away for myself
You see, each person as a different heartbeat
I am captivated by
Her heartbeat is something that I longingly want
But she won't let me have
I have come close many times
But Life has won against me
Shes older now
And has become more familiar of who I am
She understands me
Fears me
But visits when she is broken and empty
I comfort her for the time being
Hoping that one day she will be mine
So I can have the sound of her hear beat for myself
