It's quiet but it's meant to be
Life is like that here for me
Domestic chores and TV bores
and nothing but eternity

I am a space within a time
a clock that has no cause to chime
A blank TV - mechanical me
no need to speak, I've learned to mime

On the step, I look away
I can't believe another day
was here again. It's like a pain
the way I feel today.
