D
Let's go have our fight tonight
G D
Though I hate it when we spar
D
Then you go to the movies
A
And I'll go to the bar
D
You go have some popcorn
G D
I'll chow down some spuds
G D
You drink Coca Cola
A D
I'll drink a dozen Buds
D
I'll say something stupid
G D
And it won't be 'I love you'
G D
You'll get very angry, sayin'
A
Yeah? Well, screw you, too!'
D
You'll go see a movie
G D
That one with Richard Gere
G D
I'll sit here with strangers
A D
Watchin' tears drop in my beer
D
So let's go have our fight tonight
G D
Though I hate it when we spar
G D
Then you go to the movies
A
And I'll go to the bar
D
I'll crawl in real sheepish
G D
We've been through this before
G D
You'll be sleeping soundly
A D
So I'll not slam the door
D
We'll make up, we always do
G D
On that, I can rely
G D
I'll promise not to be a fool
A
You'll shake your head and sigh
D
You've been my love forever
G D
I knew you way back when
G D
So, forgive me until next year, dear
A D
When we'll fight again
D
So, let's get this fight over
G D
We'll kiss this one goodbye
G D
Then hug real tight, and say goodnight
A D
I'll love you till I die

A whole new genre for
A whole new genre for Abctales Rich. Exactly what the site should be all about, "Originality and damn fine writing".
This had both. A video and a great tune. Loved it, played it twice, ended up singing along with you.

This is so sweet and loving.
This is so sweet and loving. Great tune and the way you break into the cool talky bits, that's nice. The inevitability of next years 'fight' amused me because it's obvious it won't make any difference to the love. I look forward to you every week.

Not sure how I managed it,
Not sure how I managed it, Rich but I missed this one till now...which, I guess, made it even more enjoyable. Loved it, and enthusiastically 'ditto' all the above, with knobs on
