Strolling
-----------
The blue sky vibrates with
The wind from the west
As we saunter with the ebb tide
Savouring the solitude of togetherness
Blessed in simplicity
Secure and warm inside
In the distancea beachcomber
Closes his cheque book
Of driftwood and rope lengths
Odd shoe, cap and seafood to cook
Fired in an appetite
A timeless incense
Spurs on the frightened jogger
Who races his sand marks
Paced by a screaming hound
Fleeing the sound of it,s own barks
And the sun caresses
The sea so profound
Returning home to the applause
Of the approaching waves
As the sky clouded and dulled
Edges off nature,s harmonius gaze
Blessed in simplicity
Satiated and fulfilled:
