Winter

white snow on the ground
gold sunlight shines through the trees
cold bites into bones

This was inspired by a photo I took last December in my local park
after a heavy snowfall. Whenever I look at the photo I can feel the
ache of cold in my toes, the sunlight on my face and I hear the snow
crunch under my shoes
