Unheard Tears

Thinking of her goals and her life
what she's living here for
with unheard tears

A cry in the night, a muffled one
not wanting people to know
that she's crying
over her life and mistakes
she covers her mouth with a cloth
so she wouldn't be heard

noise all around
blended in with yelling
music playing in the background
but she doesn't care

tears streaming down her face
trying to cry out without being heard
mixed emotions sad, angry, even suicidal
no one cares
no one knows
keeping these secret crys to herself
with unheard tears
