Forbidden Fruit
The intoxicating snake
Inked on your arm
Winds and curls itself
Around limbs in my mind.
Scale on skin,
Its forked tongue flickers
Over my face,
Seeking the salt that lines lips,
Scattering its silvery scales,
Leaving a trail
I want you to follow.
As I awake,
It slides away
Leaving me breathless,
Gasping.
I will seek you again,
My slippery friend.
And you will come to me
In dreams of lust?
Thus am I,
Forbidden Fruit,
Consumed
