Poisoning this unaltered state
Distant peaks overlook sectioned materials of a patchwork quilt
With picturesque detail
While shadowed reflections of hazy whites travel across
Traces of sunlight clamber through endless forests of bottle
green
Glinting through a blanket of envy coloured purity
Grey faces with chiselled features
Whisper an archaic wisdom
Threatening to crumble into intricately piled fragments
Crushing the saccharine coloured petals
Of summers unflawed fruits
