A WET DAY AT THE SEASIDE!!

A really wet day, but wet

No sign of the promised sun.

The choices are many of course

But which will be the one?

The kids' roundabout isn't working.

All the shops we want are closed!!

The restaurants, they cost a lot.

What remedies are proposed?

We've read the daily papers,

Nothing but doom and gloom.

We'll try the Office of Tourism.

Let's hope they'll find a "boom room"

The Cocteau museum or Picasso's show,

Not really a youngsters thing!!

Macdos is shut, that's not so bad;

Church visits don't really ring!!

So, what do we do, we need help.

Pizza's a word the kids know.

Beer and Pizzas combined we hope

Will lighten the family's woe.

The weatherman says it's getting better!!

Let's hope he's got it right.

If not the future's not too good.

Our lot will start to fight!!
