Walking

Don't look back,
Down that musty, molding road.
Don't turn back,
Gazing back at what's
Happened won't do no good.
Could've Would've Should've
You say?
Well too bad”
What is done
Cannot be undone.
So,
Turn ahead,
No going back.
Don't look too far ahead,
Down that misty, fogged road.
Don't blind yourself,
With the stress and worry
Of the distant future to come.
What will Will be Could be
You say?
Well too bad”
The future is not ours
To see.
So look ahead,
But not too far.
Walk straight.
Don't look back,
Nor too far.
Plant yourself
One foot at a time.
Step by step.
And life will be,
Just fine.
