A Sight to Behold

A sight to behold
Our garden is looking lovely
It really is a treat
And passer's - by, they all remark
It stands out in the street
There's flowers in hanging baskets
And flowers in the tubs
With yards of twinkling fairy lights
All wrapped around the shrubs
And in a shady corner
We've installed a lily pond
And gnomes tied up with wire
Just in case they should abscond
There's streamers along the guttering
In red and white and blue
The breeze sends them a fluttering
And the windmills flutter too
I'm sure some folk are jealous
When they see how expertise
Intertwining up the trellis
Climb the rampant sweet peas
The camera man is here
From that "Gardener's World" you see
So the viewers, they can peer
When it's shown on their T.V
Though it seems so very quiet
There is no one else about
Just us, and all the film crew
Since the neighbours all moved out.
