Losing you.

Losing you.
I am the caged bird that does not want to be freed,
But seeing things as it does, cannot help but taste the salt in the
air
And long for it.
I think I am losing you.
Why do I feel like I can't even look at your face any more without
crying?
There are still so many words we have left unsaid&;#8230;
This cold will gnaw at our bones and weaken our spirits
eternally.
Where is the flame that we nurtured so long?
This is the end now,
There are no more roads left for us to travel together,
Though this is not by my choice.
My motive is questionable,
I don't even know which path anymore.
But I do know there are still many pathless plains,
Wider than time, left to travel
And there are many stars left in this world
Faint in the darkness.
They are not quite diminished
And I think that
Maybe
I will try to find them
On my own
For a while.
I know I am losing you
And I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
