"What a slut time is. She screws everybody." - John Green, FIOS
You spit fire from
a marvellous height
Reminded me of my
thirteenth boyfriend
as, ear to teeth,
he whispered
"gutless"
That fire was like you
etching yesterday
onto someone else's skin
You are that supple entity,
suckled me on the sap of
forgotten things
The feel of you
against my mouth:
delicious
As you squandered me,
sold me for nothing
bent me bone from
surreal bone
When you left
I pressed to dry eyes
a page from the book
you used to carve
across my spine
Then the world erupted
into a torch of blood
Agony became the
Christian name
you never gave me
You watched me,
from your windows of violet
away into the sky
And then you opened the door
to another
I saw your nails, then-
Shivers of stone
The way it felt
when you touched me

Some very potent minutaie
Some very potent minutaie here and thoughtful use of time. Loved 'shivers of stone.' Have a personal thing about no punctuation and capital use. Need to get modern, Jewel, I'm just ancient.
