Lightning

As my eyes betray my vision, I realise I am cemented in the eye of the vast forest. As the night grew cold and dark, New York’s polluted air filled my lungs as a gust of the strong wind met through my fragile eyes as my body shivers in agony. The night’s dullness is penetrated by a rustle in a nearby bush and two devilish eyes, staring at me with a foolish glare in its vivid red eyes. It’s eyes morphed recklessly through my soul, this was it I was soon to be living in the world above, forever.
My body became flaccid, disconnected. My veins pumped ruthlessly through my hesitant skin. An electrifying flash of light strikes from the raging sky as it torments through frightened people like an enormous earthquake. My heart convulsed in devastation, collapsing thunder jolts carelessly rip through my delusional soul. The, the thing, peered out from cover penetrating all it’s power to its depraved leap and ripped through my bruised skin as my blood dripped like a tap out from my insides absorbing into the prickling grass I silently lay on never to be heard from again. I lay there still and unconscious, forever dead. I felt my body arise from the prickled grass as my soul tore through my chest, depression ripped through my brain.
