So excited, can't sit still
New York city, what a thrill
All those lights, all that nosh
I am going to dress up posh

Big fat Santa's with rosy faces
All those warm and cosy places
Christmas in the city will seem
Like the perfect Christmas dream

Wake up to see all that snow
Falling to the ground below
Children skating in the Park
Not going home until it's dark

Carol singers huddle together
Keeping out the ice cold weather
The sounds of Christmas all around
What is the fabulous world I've found??

A theatre trip with dinner at eight
Food piled high on my plate
End the day with drinks and song
This is where I belong!!

Now it's time to pop my cork
And toast you all from New York!!
