F Each Day I Rise

Each Day I Rise

When I awaken early each morn
Happy in my thoughts that the sunshine will adorn
Everything I strive to do each and every day
I hope in my heart to succeed thats what I pray

Gather my thoughts rise out of bed
Remembering to complete those deeds I've said
Goals and aims Ive set myself
To get them done not leave on the shelf

Wash and shave my breakfast took
Get dressed and out without a backward look
Reach my destination my hopes abound
A vocation not a job Ive found

The smiles that greet me when I arrive
My heart now lifted this day Ill strive
To help to share to bring happiness so fair
To all around me in my life and care

No payments or rewards could be so high
Than my love for what I do I cry
Thank you lord for this small favour
To help others not so fortunate with my labour

So all I ask is not to lose
My laughter and kindness so I dont confuse
That this keeps me going from morn to night
To be so glad that I'm guided by a loving shining light
