Ode to a Coal Oven? Oh little oven so small and snug, The perfect size and warmth to hug. Nasty brown tiles don't distract, From the love and devotion that you attract. Nine flights of stairs I carry for thee, The coal that you gobble up instantly. A healthy portion of each of my days, Is spent tending to your funny ways. But without a grumble or a moan, I care for you when I get home. And I work for the endless goal, Of coal coal coal coal coal?
