I suffer this dumb distance
in a labyrinth of confusion
with misty eyes and sorrowful smile
that have become familiar friends.
I move awkwardly to sleep
with sighs of unreasonableness
and hesitant restlessness
that has claimed its lodgment.
I ache for your soft whisperings
and tenderness that would smother
this heavy burden in my heart
and sure the unsure pangs of love.
I desire to pillow my head
in your ripened breasts
and entrance the ecstatic
deep warmth of your lubricity.
