silence

Silence,
a veil of light that slips between words ;
falling between sentences and vowels;
words that find their way between time that hesitates;
innocence of love ;
you smile;
i trace my path between the weave of your sweater;
a dream captured between reality and the flame of a candle;
a glass of wine;
chardonnay echoing the wind outside as love captures your smile;
I think,
you said,
"un dag",
and smiled somehow through the storm;
then the wine that saw your beginning in my soul;
my words a whisper when i gaze into your forever blue eyes;
a footstep;
a spell wrought from the winter moon;
me;
one with you before you spoke the words that made my heart sing;
my cello capturing the last rays of the setting sun
in a garden made of stars.
I paused on the stairs
saw you hold my hand before the the wind became the stars
weaving your heart into mine in the silence of night
before
the moon became the sun;
love;
in the moments before you whispered my name;
love;
in the moments before time wove the minutes that made us catch our breath;
time;
when love held us in einstein's infinity;
when the winds of iceland held us in a hollow of stars.
i love you still before my eyes close at night under a street lamp of dreams;
moonlight shattering my window;
paintings upon my easel;
my cello an echo of you;
an echo of love.\;
infinity upon a sheet of muscal notes;
compositions within what is human;
within your heart that is mine.
