softness within a crystal light

Rooms swept by the late afternoon sun
are caressed by dreams of light
like
notes from a piano harmonizing with the sea.
Wind chimes softly carry the serenity of love in your eyes;
a wonder found in the curve of a moment:
Memories sing born from an icelandic storm
weaving their magic into rainbows across the warmth of the house;
hallways spinning dreams into the fall of your gaze.
Silence of moments count the spray of the waves into blue green seas;
into grey skies that mirror your eyes.
Notes unwritten but told to the heart
echo into the stillness of spaces across your words
as if music itself paused before you;
dreams weaving the songs from words unspoken.
Life woven into the sea,
carries love through all the time apart
to iceland and the light that follows your heart.
Dreams like paper birds
chase the seagulls into the wind
flying ever towards you from me;
a softness within a crystal light.
