I wonder

I wonder

I wonder what God will
say to me
when I reach
the gates
of heaven.
I wonder if he'll
place me on
cloud number nine
with popcorn and candy
all tasting
divine!
Or will I be at
the gates
of hell
repenting my sins
and fighting
my fears
or maybe I'll be
placed somewhere
in between
where flowers grow
amongst
thorny bushes
and sweet melodies
of songs
of
lonely hearts,
where I will dance
amongst the stars
but the moon
is no
friend.
I wonder what God
will say to me
when I reach the
gates
of heaven.
A word to the
wise
or a word of warning
as he hushes
the angels
and hands
me my
halo!
