Just as gabriel fell(an angel cried)

As God banished Gabriel from heaven above
an angel cried
for she needed his love
but this angel she loved
was never to return
to the kingdom of heaven
where her heart did yearn

she pleaded with God
oh please let him stay
how could you do that?
send one of your children away
away from heaven
in the blue sky above
leaving me alone
with no other to love.

the angel would sit
and cry for Gabriel...
she wanted him so
to let him know
these feelings of love...
no matter how long they were apart
would NEVER go
such pain she felt, a fatal wound in her heart

as Gabriel wallowed in grief
where his God unjustly banished him
to the everlasting darkness beneath....
as his mind twisted,throbbing with hate
he longed to return there
but he knew it was too late...
for this everlasting darkness had swallowed him whole
an unstoppable evil, corrupting his soul
as he withered in self pity
this anger,quickly,agonizingly,taking control
stealing all innocence from this once heavenly soul

not even God could bring the two back together
for this angel of darkness,this angel of light
must give up this fight
they could never win
their love for eachother,an unforgivable sin.
