Do you ever doubt your existence?
Or question who you are?
Do you ever wonder why you can't be like the others?
Do you ever wish you had the guts?
The guts to ask those strangers all your queries?
Do you ever want their figure, looks or grace?
Their intelligence, charm, wit or heart?
Do you ever get jealous?
DO you ever question your religion; question your faith and love?
Do you ever want to get out?
Out of the world you feel so entrapped in?
So damaged, so restricted, so wrong in?
Do you ever go to sleep?
Thinking you might never wake up?
Are you ever scared?
So scared you cry, can't move, can't speak?
Do you ever refrain from doing something?
For fear of scorn, judgement and self-failure?
Do you ever want to fade into the background?
Do you ever feel so sure of yourself?
When running high on adrenaline, and can't come down?
That nothing can, will stop you, no matter what?
Do you ever listen to the T.V and want it to make sense?
Do you ever think imperfections are the only way to get through?
Do you see everyone else as normal and yourself as strange?
Do you ever wonder what normality is?
That no one can be normal, because we're all so different?
Do you ever want to be more than just a statistic?
Do you ever stop eating, stop thinking, stop breathing?
Do you ever hate yourself so much you want to die?
To just give it all up, to collapse and break down?
Do you ever not take things into perspective?
Do you ever think everything is the same, no different?
A bird as a bee, a jewel as a rock?
Do you ever want to destroy all that you own?
To go back to simplicity- the easy way?
Do you ever wonder if it would be easy?
That you could cope without all the modern items bestowed upon
you?
Do you ever want to be alone in your own little world?
To live without anyone, but yourself?
Do you ever wonder if you'd become lonely in that situation?
That you need someone, anyone, everyone?
