I dont want a relationship

but i want to gaze at the stars with somebody who will love me in that moment 

me love them then too cheesy

for all we are, just in that moment jesus christ

if we fall in love so be it.

There is an intimacy, even pleasure

I am elated. And still, I'm not satisfied.

Perhaps there is a safety in not knowing 

Absence makes the heart grow quiet, I think 

but I need to know

Am I safe?

It's nice to be in a relationship but it's also nice to be alone for a bit especially if the other half of the relationship feels the same way. I love gazing at the stars but some people prefer the planets. Overlapping's the best way through this sort of thing.

I enjoyed your poem Leanne. It's one that made me think.

There's nothing wrong with sharing moments under the stars with someone who understands and feels the same as you. It's those fleeting instances that last forever.
