dark blue night and drizzling rain
red, green, and yellow lights
shiny reflections in splashing puddles
paper plastered to the sidewalk by rain
old news blowing through the wind like tumbleweeds
a hollow windy moan
as he heads to the center of town
where he's ready to stand off against death once more
