The Pin Drops

We left at 4:30 in the morning, heading west on route 66, and straight up to the deacon national park By 3 o clock I had estimated. Pedal to the metal at this time of the morning, but probably slow moving traffic jams by noon. The kids were in the back wrapped up warm, Lacy and James. Lacy with her bright red duffel coat, bright blonde hair, and rosie cheeks, and jame's cheeky toothless smile. It was hard bringing up the kids on my own, and especially hard on our first vacation without their mother, iam not going to lie, it took me a long, long time to recover but the two little angels of the north had helped me through
