Beauty

Beauty becomes a weapon
As she wraps her lies around
Seductive ploys with heart she toys
As beguiled deceit impounds
Poison lips plush passion
Arms caress but thoughts are cold
Decadent sight, stains the night
As her tormented depths unfold
False ease in fondness whispered
She skilfully steals your soul
Piece by piece dismembered
Truths subtracted in her goal
Once she's tasted favour
You'll never flee her lair
With twisted minds
Desire entwines
Disguised by loves ensnare
A face never forgotten
Beneath, what lies within?
Deceit, entrapment, avarice
A want for bitter sin
Driven by objective
She'll never be alone
The body of an angel
With heart of solid stone
Using her appeals
To tangle and entice
She preys on better nature
Compassion set in ice
Weaving torment
To snatch empathy
And doubt to
Veil her lie
With every human kindness lost
Her gains will multiply
In this world all is obtainable
But what betides her final breath
What becomes of heartless beauty?
Will she walk alone in death
