Doll's out of Trees

Soul mates but are we friends?
We've played
together
Not under leaves in summer grasses,
embodied
Though, I've thrown you from many a
tree
Like my dolls the tea-trolley
ambulance
Is a fading
memory
Never the less, you've been
saved
Restored, a myriad of
times
Words like stones
thrown
Reap react
They crash into
bricks
Dive from high
buildings
Scale even the innermost
wall
I've tugged your hair
And
scrawled on your face
Dipped you headlong into the
bird bath at intervals
Then gently wiped away the
evidence
I've detatched your
head
Plucked out fur
Doodled
moustaches and crossed you out
I've beaten you at
marbles
Been thrashed by unsuspecting
conkers
We've drawn on several
occasions
Should I say, share our
games?
I know you think you're
aware
But even in the most obvious of
bashes
When I've waited you out truck for
truck
You've been oblivious
I
guess soul mates is enough
And I've always had a
problem
Keeping friends
