What does the word love mean?
For words are only a sound we make
and patterns we scribble on paper.
How can so much emotion be set free
in one small sound?
It takes no time to say
but it can last forever.

Why is a kiss so meaningful?
It is only two parts of the body
meeting simultaneously with motion.
Is it because the same body parts
reveal emotion and say the word love?
It takes no time to do
but it can last forever.

What is in a gaze?
Eyes can look at everything in view
and see whatever they wish to see.
But how can your eyes see through
the eyes of someones soul?
It takes no time to look
But it can last
Forever.
