On the East coast
just south of the bay,
there stands a cottage
made of red clay.
A fence of white pickets
enclose an emerald green lawn,
with a cobblestone path
that glistens each dawn.
From the moss covered porch
view the sandy sea shore,
as blue morning glories
trellis the arched wooden door.
Bright golden candles
warm each window sill,
while clinging grape ivy
embrace the adjacent quaint hill.
On the East coast
just south of the bay,
there stands a red cottage
where you're welcome to stay.
