Limits

Lower me into the depths of tragedy
So that I may swim to the surface
With the graceful strokes I have learnt

Toss me into the fire
So that I may show you
My flame-proof gown

Throw me from the moving train
So I may demonstrate
How to tuck and curl
To avoid broken limbs

Push me to my limit
For I know not what it is.
