Faery Tears
By lucid
- 273 reads
Fortified by knowing that others share the pain
Depression and frustration pulsating every vein.
Allowing no escape to sanity and bliss
Entangled in a darkened emotional abyss.
Crying out with empty voice to stop the tears astray
Alas, no cloud strives to be broken so as to end and pray.
Thrice others laughed at such a misconstrued state
Though unconsciously they share the same doomed hate.
A happiness not lost, but long forgotten
An emotional purgatory so helplessly caught in.
A spider's thin leg, a sliver of pain
Expanding like ice, in pleasurable game.
Playing with emotions, with such cruel intent
For mere satisfaction - no more it quite meant.
Hence the tears so quietly shed,
Atop the wrists so curiously bled.
A wish to be normal - no more than just sane,
to break out the sunshine from curtains of rain.
Such a beautiful face, such a promising life
they all say unknowingly - unknowing of strife.
This all seems unreal - why I am filled with such fear,
It feels as if I'm dying, and crying faery tears.
