A Memory Lost
a calm breath in the still silence,
a pause in heartbeat,
a wait, waiting instant,
a now.
it flits by,
on the winds of forever.
it slips through the filaments of the moment,
through stranded gaps of time.
and all you can hold
is the empty air,
the absence,
the undefined shape of something
something that was never really there
turning back,
a reconstruction,
an echo memory,
fogged and faded out
limps into view
distorted and decayed.
and so,
another lost particle
of the past
dissolves into
the never forever.

So evocative and you sum up those lost memories beautifully.
