THE DAISIES IN MY GARDEN READ EGDAR ALLEN POE.
The daisies in my garden read Edgar Allen Poe,
They wait outside my kitchen door, outside my bungalow.
I've often heard them chanting obscure madrigals in rhyme.
They're digging up my radishes, my parsley and my thyme.
The daisies in my garden watch me while I sit,
Soaking up the sun's warm rays while sipping Gin and 'it.
They whisper, plan and formulate a way to make me cry,
While I pretend I'm not aware and hide my fearful sighs.
They dominate the landscape of my unemotional frame,
They get inside my mind when I'm unblocking all my drains.
They simper in their mock concern when they think they've scored a
hit,
My only one true solace is they don't like Gin and `it
