I have lost any desire to peer over;
It’s over.
Compassion, a desire to understand;
Not when insanity makes dialogue between us impossible.
I no longer have the heart,
To continue using the shorthand labels,
The very existence
Of your views,
Of your beliefs
Convince me that the poison has spread too far.
I can’t defend my lack of love,
Not when I believe in He who is love
But I’ve convinced myself
That opposing what you stand for
Is ultimately,
Love in action;
I know that can’t be true;
But I’m helpless in the face of such truth denial.
Facts are now countered by emotional certainties,
And that makes it even more dangerous,
Here.

This sounds very troubled.
This sounds very troubled. Sometimes we can but pray for those with whom we disagree, and for our own views to be Bible-taught. Rhiannon

Yes, this is a very strong opinion piece of writing. Our truths are ours, and we know they are not the same for everyone,and therein lies the truth. Walk away, accept the differenes to live and let live. Walk in your sunshine and do not worry the shadows of others.
