Close The Chapter

Preparing myself for another night's dream
Will she be with me, I can but hope
(And know that my rest will be what I need.)

Time will tell, and in hours I'll know
of what it consisted, that place I'd go.

A fantasy land with colours bright
And nothing that is real exists all night.

Or a re-creation of what has been before
A way of assessing my daily thoughts.

But will she be with me, will it go that way -
Will I open my eyes with that smile on my face?

Time will tell and in hours I'll know
of where it is, that place I go.

Now its time to end the chapter of this day
...Close my eyes and dream away.
