The Love Birds.

I love watching nature, usually when I am sitting down looking out of the window or washing up at work.

Watching the various different birds, including my favourite the little robin red breast. And the squirrels.

Many years ago, I saw an awful sight, that I had never forgotten. As I looked down there were 2 flat birds.

It seemed they didn’t see the bus, as it approached them, and before they knew it, it was curtains!

Over the years I have seen birds from my window at home, clearly in love, eyes for each other, only.

They say love is blind, this week as I drove my car, two little birds, swooped down low in front of my car.

What would possess, birds who own half the sky, to come down onto a busy road and risk their lives?

I think I have a theory, either they are in love, and did not care, or they were playing dare.
