Nottingham.

Yesterday, it was all confusing, with incidents and nothing was clear.
This morning things became a little clearer it was two students from Nottingham university.
The two students killed; they were just nineteen years old. Both, were sporty.
When I heard the news, yesterday that three had died, I remember thinking, Life should, mean life! Not many people get life in England, it seems fifteen years, and then out with good behaviour.
Today we saw their faces and heard their names, the third man was stabbed and his van was stolen. The stolen van was then used to run three people over, one is critical in hospital. The driver of the van was a caretaker at a school.
Saw on the news tonight, the dads of the two murdered teens talking of their loss. Thousands came to their vigil held at the university. Those ran over, their names were not mentioned, only those who died.
Video was shown of the suspect trying to get into a place, where vulnerable people live, one of them managed to punch him in the face.
Footage was shown of the suspect, trying to carry on down the road but he was cornered, then the first police man tasered him, then another police came and tasered him too and took him out the car.
It turned out he has mental health. This man should not have been in the community. But we don’t know if he had a social worker, or a mental health nurse. He caused SO much chaos!
What will become of him? I hope he gets life, for the lives he has taken. No punishment, will bring the loved ones back. I hope he never walks free again.
I hope he gets the help he needs, and is kept in a very secure jail for the rest of his life.
If he was in another part of the world, where they have the death penalty, he would have been executed.
A life for a Life. Nothing will bring the loved ones back, but if it was in another country, they would have perhaps felt better, knowing he would definitely not do any harm to anyone ever again.
