When Noah said, “There is going to be a flood,” Everyone but 8 of them laughed, until their last breath. It does not mean the majority was right, it meant they were all wrong. It must have been horrible for Noah, with everyone laughing at him, and his close family, for all those years, but he knew, he was right, he knew how it would all end. There was nothing else he could have done, to save them to get them to get ready to go into the ark. Then when the bone-dry place, started to rain, it was 100% too late to get into the ark of safety, for God had locked the door.
Jesus did just good. The Pharisees hated Him. They only saw him through eyes of pure hate. In their eyes, there was nothing he could do to change their minds. Yes, the crowds followed Jesus as he did just good to and for them. The crowds, Jesus knew were fickle, He knew all their beginning and end, He loved them anyway. The majority they were wrong about Jesus, at the time of His death. Jesus is very wise, as he was God in the flesh when He was here on Earth for 33 years. He was able to say to those who wanted to judge someone, and embarrass them in public, He said, to them, “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” They didn’t see that coming! They must have thought, at the very least, He will be on our side against her! But no, He knew their motives, and that it was not good. Jesus like them, knew the laws of their day. The Old Testament laws were very strict. The Pharisees lived in the past, they not only followed the laws, but made up some of their own, to make life difficult for the other people, who were maybe not as learned in the knowledge of the Old Testament laws, as they were. But sadly, for them, they knew, Jesus was right, they too were not perfect, he knew them, and what they got up to behind closed doors! So, from the eldest to the youngest, they dropped their stones and left. Jesus was always on the side of the underdog. Because of the encounter, this woman changed her lifestyle. People would have still called her an, “Adulterer,” until their last breath, but she was not that anymore, in the eyes of Jesus, and it was He who was important, not them. People’s thinking was often changed when they met Jesus.
My views, has changed from when I was a teenager, and it has changed throughout my life, and now I am in my 60’s. When I was young, I was for the death penalty, period, end of! When I was about 20 years old, I watched a documentary, about the wrong man, who was put to death, we all watched it as a family. After the innocent man was killed, the real killer made himself known, but the price had already been paid. The innocent man, we had followed him, on the last year of his life, and we had gotten to know him. I shed a few tears for the innocent man, there was nothing anyone could do, to bring him back. My family seemed shocked that I had shed those tears, and wanted to know if it changed my views, it didn’t that day, for views take time to change, it is not always overnight, but series of events. That was the starting point, for change for me, it took that! Today, I am still for the death penalty, but only if they are 100% right, IF there is 1% doubt, then the person should not be put to death, but should go to jail for life.
Recently a man was in the news, I will change his name, what shall I call him? When I younger I worked in a place that employed about 120 people, with that number, 9 of them were called John! In some parts of the world, some men are named after their father and grandfather, and they are called the 2nd or 3rd well I will call him John the 7th! As there would have been lots of John’s before him. When I went to school, all my schooling, I have said since I left school, “That there were 50% white kids, 50% black kids and 50% Asian kids, and quickly add, forget the maths.” As that’s my sense of humour.
John the 7th his upbringing was the same, as mine brought up with different cultures. He like myself, as always been passionate about something, what drove me, was different to what drove him.
John the 7th is a man of action, unlike some people who like to have a revolution from their beds! That always makes me smile, when I say that to one person in particular.
John the 7th started his own group, it was a start, but when he realized that those in his group, did not think the same as him, he left the group! We can all learn as we go along in life. John the 7th was given a label when he was in the group, and even though he has left the group, the label has Stuck! They do say, that, a leopard cannot change its spots, but John the 7th is a Man, a thinking, clever, smart Man, and not a leopard. No one likes to be labelled, usually it is in a negative way, like mud sticks, or no smoke without fire! If John the 7th became religious tonight, the label would still be there, like a bad smell that doesn’t go away!
There is nothing John the 7th can do, but just be open and honest. All his videos are there on YouTube for all to watch, but the majority still see him through eyes of hate and they even Hate his name.
He is a completely changed Man, but to listen to people talk about him, you wouldn’t think so. My Son Daniel went to see him recently, and he said, “It was the best experience of my life!” I wished I had gone too, when he told us all about it. All nationalities were there, and that alone speaks volumes, that’s a testament, to him, for all ages were there too, from babies to OAPs. People, are waking up to the Truth!
It was big news, and after the event, one of my second cousins asked me for my views on John the 7th. I told her, very briefly, but her reply was horrible, about him. She described him in one word. It was, a hurtful, spiteful word, for she without looking him up on YouTube, she only remembered him when he was in the first group, she and her huge army of siblings, all bar one speak with one loud voice!
Mud sticks, and it is a shame, that, they, and many others won’t give him a chance, they can’t get past the first page of his life. But on the bright side, all his supporters from all walks of life, they have moved on from the first page. Some people, they will never change, they choose not to learn nothing new, they keep their old views, until their very last breath!
My wish for him, may he live long and prosper. x
