I thought I had heard about all the major bad things in the world. Some things little or small I have read about on social media, as they slowly filter through; like parts of history that was not thought important.
Last week as I was flicking through the channels, something caught my eye, when I thought I knew what it was about, or could be about, I decided not to watch it. But as I flicked through, there wasn’t anything else on, so reluctantly I decided to watch it instead.
It was about a family abroad, who lived on an isolated farm, there was a mum, dad, and lots of children I think six siblings altogether.
The dad was clearly the head of the house. He set a very bad example of what a dad should be, he filled their heads with nonsense, he locked them up for long times, so that they were on their own for long periods of time, he sexually abused some of them, he was very cruel, he starved them he strangled them.
In one home video, he got one of his young child to sit on a small child’s chair and as the young child was seated on the chair, she was age about five, he pushed her hard off the chair onto the floor! He picked her back up off the floor she was now holding her arm and crying, what a sad, evil bully! The wife who was in the room, holding a younger child did nothing.
I tried not to get too involved, as he made me angry and I kept seeing over and over again, this large man pushing this tiny child off the chair! Even after the documentary had ended.
He did all these cruel things, in the name of his ‘religion’ that he had made up!
The children put up with the mind games, and abuse until one by one half of them left the family home, and went out into the world.
The documentary shows those that have left and how they are coping on the outside world.
There is a part two, I don’t plan on watching it. But I do know that their mum died and that their dad was taken to court, but sadly before he could go to court, he had a stroke and was in the hospital prison, I believe he is now unable to talk! I would love to have just five minutes with him!! I wonder how the nurses are, who now care for him, knowing how cruel he was to all of his 6 children and wife and now there helpless, I wonder if he now knows now what it feels like to be afraid? Or hurt? Or abused?
It seems now that it is big news in his country, he it seems has escaped justice! For how can they try a man, he did untold hurt and abuse to his own little kids be tried, found guilty and sent to jail?
The children who escaped his cruelty, they are hurting, they have unanswered questions, that their mum can’t answer nor now their dad.
I felt 1% of their pain. What a nasty, evil man. The documentary is called, The Hidden of Children Ruinerwold Farm.
