Special, Very.

We have two big dogs. When we have workmen, they are put in cages. One cage is in the tv room, the other cage is in the kitchen.
The only thing that I have insured individually is the washing machine.
Whenever it breaks down, Usually, the dogs bark none stop! One day, a man walked through the door to fix our washing machine, both dogs barked and then after 5 minutes stopped barking.
The man looked ‘normal’ but there was nothing normal about him, at all. The dogs were completely silent. The man even went on his hands and knees as he took the machine apart, right next to the cage. I was stunned. I took a video of him, and the dogs in both rooms, when he had his back to me.
I said to him, “This has Never happened before, that the dogs are completely silent, when a stranger has been here.” I wish I knew what his secret was, but what I do know, is that he was Very Special, and both dogs knew it!
In stark contrast, the dogs would always bark when people first arrived, but for two people they displayed something else. One was Daniel’s friend there was no other way to put it but the dogs hated him! And for a relative by marriage, the dogs also hated him too. It was odd, but it seemed the dogs knew something we didn’t and both young men who didn’t know each other, were lovely. They didn’t visit often, but when they did, we would shout, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?” They would reply, “Nothing.” The noise was deafening.
But they must have done something, the dogs were consistent in their hate for them.
I would love to know more about that washing machine repair man, that came to our home for over an hour and the dogs loved him, SO much, that they didn’t bark, they were completely at peace and at ease with him.
