Although she’s almost three times his age all she ever wants is him ,

The way she looks , the way she talks , the way she is , its such a sin .

She doesn’t notice that I’m hurting whenever she is  flirting    

I see she hasn’t got eyes for me now and one things for certain 

she’s got a cougar in her heart and it’s tearing our love apart  .

She calls his name and she speaks softy with a tip toe on her tongue

I’ve always noticed how she likes boys when they are handsome and young .

She thinks I don’t know who she is but I do and I’m telling you

Its so sad when all the love you had becomes a fad she out grew  

she’s got a cougar in her heart and it’s  tearing our love apart  .

She talks to him most all of the time even when she’s fast asleep ,

Her mind has been consumed by him and she’s been swept right off her feet

She’s got a crush on him and the feelings she has won’t go away  

and in her eyes I’m disappearing a little more every day .

She’s got a cougar in her heart and it’s tearing our love apart  .

Cougar heart, keeps your claws away , cast your spell on somebody else

Cougar heart if you don’t care for me I’d rather be by myself    

Cougar heart, look what you’ve done to someone who loved you from the start

what did I do to deserve someone who loves  /with a cougar heart ,

tame that cougar in your heart girl because its tearing us apart .
