Dan The Man From Donegal
When it comes to Country music Daniel O'Donnell is your man .
The generosity he has contributed to his fans and artists is why
Daniel has such a loyal following all around the world .
The keys to success in life is having faith , hope , and charity
For years now Daniel has put out an open invitation to drop in for a
cup of tea at his Mothers home in Donegal . The wee drop
in your hand with Daniel and his Mother has become so popular that the
queue for a cuppa last time stretched from his Mothers front door to
the ends of the village and beyond as far as the eye could see . With a
heart as big as Donegal Daniel is very generous with his time and
considers what others forget so easy .
Being simple and free is how Daniel began his career and today
even with his massive success its still the simple things in life
that mean so much to him . He always has a smile and a helping hand .
Fame has not changed the essence of who he is .
The faith Daniel has shared with the world is clearly shown by the
material he has recorded on his albums and videos .
The hope he has given to up and coming artists is ongoing .
He always gives the unestablished artists a break into the music
I was talking with Mary Duff the last time she was on tour in Australia
and she gave Daniel a lot of credit for her success Daniel included
Mary on his tours for ten years , until Mary established herself as a
recording artist and today Mary Duff has her own following as a solo
She summed her hopes in her career by saying ,
" Nothing can compare to working with your own show because the people
have come just to see you ."
Daniel has become one of today's much loved entertainers .
He spends most of his time touring around the world and always commands
big audiences wherever he performs .
Recently at his concert in Sydney Daniel had made arrangements for
people in wheelchairs to come and see him after the show .
There is a fervour when you see Daniel O'Donnell live in concert . Its
easy to become involved and swept up with
the magic of Daniel again and again .
